The Coffee Table Collection

The Coffee Table Collection

The most memorable part of my many moves from one New York City apartment to another has been shlepping my ungodly heavy box of coffee table books. Each book is a treasure trove of inspiration for me, so the workout is worth it. I deeply love the layers of beauty portrayed in the books below—a few of my favorites.

JCREW Forty Years of American Style

To this day, JCrew remains one of my go-to stores to shop. As an editor and stylist, I rely on timeless, comfortable, tailored, and elevated pieces. JCrew pieces are workhorses for me. The brand, like Ralph Lauren, has shaped idyllic americana style. With decades of outstanding creative campaigns, I love getting lost in the pages of this book. The brand's current creative director Olympia Gayot and lostjcrew are two of my favorite Instagram follows.

The End: Montauk

No book teleports me with its images like this one. It's sexy, raw, soulful, and makes me want to drop everything and shack up out east for the weekend.

Ralph Lauren A Way of Living: Home, Design, Inspiration

I’m not sure anyone has mastered the art of living the way Ralph Lauren has. In times of never-ending minimalism, I love his way of creating a home where things clash (in a perfect way), are overcrowded, and are full of life and clearly meant to be lived in.

Pierre Yovanocitch: Interior Architecture

This book inspired an exciting upcoming Vesey launch.

With love,

Margot
